Adobe Acrobat Connect, Zoom and Teleconferencing
The CNSF maintains a licenses for Adobe Acrobat Connect, Zoom and a toll-free teleconferencing service These tools can be used at the desktop to host meetings where everyone particpates from their office. It can also be used to create a conference room videoconference to enable meetings with sites that do not have dedicated conference room capabilities. The CNSF can support such a conference room meeting with multiple laptops, cameras and microphones.
Conference Rooms and Equipment
The CNSF has created, and provides ongoing support for, videoconference facilities in the following locations:
- Biomedical Sciences Building (Manoa), Room T-201 [Admin Info]
This is our flagship conference facility. The room can hold up to 8 people in classroom seating configuration, or 6 people at conference tables. It is equipped with a Tandberg Edge 95 videoconference unit, high quality microphones, webcams, a ceiling mount projector, a 42 inch LED/LCD monitor, stereo sound system, computer, video play and record capabilities and a Polycom conferencing telephone. - PBRC Rm. 254
The room can hold up to 14 people at a conference table. It is equipped with a 53 inch LED/LCD monitor and a Barco Clickshare unit.
- Kewalo Marine Laboratory Library This room can hold up to 30 people in classroom or conference configuration. It is equipped with a super-bright ceiling mount projector, PA sound system and a Barco Clickshare unit.
