Services
The CNSF provides support for both local storage servers in remote locations and centralized storage servers. All data storage is based on redundant RAID technology and is backed up nightly to provide a high degree of disaster immunity.
The storage servers are available to researchers needing to store or backup data that needs to be accessible and/or shared. For long-term data archiving, we recommend storing multiple copies of the data on inexpensive external hard drives.
