Georg von Békésy's Art Collection

 

 

This page shows examples of objects in Georg von Békésy's art collection. Upon his death in 1972, the entire collection was donated to the Nobel Foundation. The Foundation performed a thorough assessment of the objects in the collection and published a volume from which all the the pictures and text on this page are excerpted:
