| Later the basal bodies in the opisthe become organized into polykinetids of the three oral membranelles (1, 2 and 3) and of the two rows of basal bodies forming the undulating membrane (um). The outer row of basal bodies of the undulating membrane is already ciliated as are at least some of the polykinetids of the oral membranelles.
