Daughter micronucleus in dividing cell. The chromosomes are compacted into one large heterochromatic body. Remnants of the division spindle remain inside the intact nuclear envelope. Nuclear envelopes remain intact in ciliates during division in both the micronucleus and macronucleus. m, mitochondrion; per, peroxisome; dic, dictyosome of Golgi complex; er, rough ER.
