Bundles of microtubules making up the postoral fiber (po mt)
lie against the right margin of the cytopharynx (cp) (to the
observer’s left) which is additionally supported by about 18 narrow
ribbons. The cytopharyngeal microtubular ribbons lie on the left
(observer’s right) with their discoidal vesicles. The nascent
phagosome membrane bulges out into the endoplasm. fr,
