An enlargement of a portion of Figure 50 showing the many IMPs on the
P-fracture faces of the lysosomal membranes that had just fused with
the DV. The membrane will smooth out as the phagolysosome expands
osmotically. The membrane in the upper right corner has fewer IMPs and
may be a remnant of the DV-II membrane. (For relative numbers of IMPs
