| A secondary lysosome from day 1 of a culture-age study shows a lysosome with 6 layers of paracrystalline material. The lysosome is enclosed by a single membrane that has a conspicuous brush of polysaccharide filaments lining its luminal surface. EM taken on 2/26/80 by R. Allen with Hitachi HU11A TEM.
