| Grazing sections through the sites of fusion of acidosomes with the DV-I indicate that several bulbous blebs can form around the rim of a fused acidosome. In this micrograph a circle of 7 blebs (arrow) is found around one fusion site (out of section plane). Other sites have different numbers of blebs. EM taken on 4/3/80 by R.
